The largest new convention
facility development will be the new Venetian complex on the Cotai Strip opening
in the second quarter of 2007. This will feature 74,682 sqm/803,877 sqft of new
exhibition space, a 15,000 fixed seat plenary space and 25,000 sqm of meeting space. This will make it one of
the largest convention and exhibition centres in
Asia. In addition, the recently opened Macau Fisherman's Wharf
complex offers 2,740 sqm/29,493 sqft of exhibition space and a convention
facility capable of seating 3,000 delegates. The recently expanded Macau Forum
offers 7,280 sqm/78,362 sqft of exhibition space and fixed seating for 4,000.
The Macau East Asian Games Dome has 5,772 sqm/62,130 sqft of exhibition space
and arena seat capacity for 7,000. The Macau Tower has 1,850 sqm/19,913 sqft of
exhibit space and fixed seating for 500.
