ICC Berlin ‑ has introduced new dimensions to the meetings world since its opening. As one of the world's major meeting places, it offers in its 80 halls and rooms (seating 5 ‑ 9,100) and spacious foyers the technology, the space and the service for every kind of event. The combined "congress and exhibition" concept is a Berlin specialty due to the fact that the ICC Berlin is directly linked to the adjacent Berlin Exhibition Grounds (160,000 sq.meters/1,722,400 sq. feet).

General Description Meeting & Exhibit Facilities

Meeting Rooms

Eighty rooms have controls for climate, sound, electric and multiple outlets. Uniquely designed chairs in Halls 1, 2 (on the grandstand), 3 and 6 feature fold‑down work surfaces, communication consoles, individual lamps and microphones. Hall 3 has a 5mx19m/16'x62' stage.

Theatre/Auditorium

Halls 1 + 2 share a two‑way fully equipped stage, measuring 14m H, 34m W, 22.5m D. Hall 1 seats 5,008. A section of the ceiling can be lowered to create a smaller room for 3,520. Twelve sections in front of the stage area can be lowered to create orchestra pits, raised to form platforms, or leveled with the floor. Hall 2 has a retractable grandstand which creates seating for 1,480 theater‑style or 3,540 in a hall with a 3‑level gallery. The stage area extends the room to accommodate 4,000 for banquets. Combining Halls 1, 2 and the stage seats a total of 9,100 people.

Exhibits

2,320 sqm net/24,974 sqft of exhibit space on 2nd and 4th floors. Freight elevator, truck ramp. 220/380V electrical, phone outlets, broadcast conduits, CCTV cables on the floor. PA. ATM net (glassfibre broadband), Wi‑Fi (WLAN).
